Hello nerds,

Merry Christmas Eve! I blinked and it went from Thanksgiving to Christmas in no time. As always, i’m doing some last minute present wrapping and one day, i won’t wait until 2-3 days before Christmas to get my life together. Maybe one day when I’m a real grown up (ಥ﹏ಥ)

Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year. It’s also one of the biggest, if not the biggest holiday in the Philippines. I spent a Christmas with my grandma in the Philippines a few years ago, and it is just filled with singing and delicious fucking food for days. There were constantly children coming to the front gate to do some Christmas caroling. It’s super cute. While the corona virus has us all celebrating quite differently than we used to, my little sister and I did something new for the first time ever. We attempted to take Christmas photos with Kuma.

In my head, I imagined this to be the easiest thing. Get him to sit, stay, click the self timer on the camera and boom photos done. That is definitely not how it went:

1. he would not keep his christmas hat on for shit
   

   

2. he kept trying to eat my christmas antler head band thing
   

   

3. we would ask him to sit and he would sit with his back facing the camera and did not understand turn around
   

   

4. mid countdown he would leave the frame
   

   

5. he got distracted by anything - even leaves
   

   

He’s the goodest boy, he’s just confused sometimes. But after about an hour or so of reframing and bribing this handsome dog with treats, we at least got two that i think are cute.
