Henlo nerds~
How’re you now? Me - I cannot complain, I have a lot to be grateful for. If I haven’t had the chance to tell you yet, Kuma and I are moving! We’ll be about two hours away from the city. I’m relentless about my love for the desert, but now I’m taking my chance to see how true that is. This summer I’ll probably be tanner than Ross in that one episode of Friends, but it’s the tax I’ll gladly pay if I can look out my window every day to the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets. It’s worth a leap of faith.
Here’s some other stuffs I thought I’d share with ya this week, bud.
It’s National Best Friends Day! I am incredibly blessed to have my dog as my bestie, but also, I know a lot of dope humans too. Humans who are my DAWGS (i am cringing with you lol). We may not be best friends nor the bestestest of friends, but they’re people who’s met me at both my best & worst self. They have been integral to who I am and continue to grow to be. I’m too lazy to google Friendship Day, it didn’t seem enough. So even on this day - i’d like to honorably mention my dawgs. Cheers to friends like family <3
Keeping up with the economy is.. boring. But in the famous words of Dwayne Carter Jr aka Weezy F Baby aka Lil Wayne, “Life is a gamble and i’m all about my poker chips.” So play poker, bros. I read Market Briefs daily. It’s a quick read and the memes can be funny. I’m not highly informed, but knowing a little has helped make some day dreams a better reality or at least helped me make smarter-ish moves when I’m more mindful of the factors that play into me monies.
Here’s a favorite photo since the last spam. My fwen Junior took this photo of me and the Kuma at camp the other week. How serendipitous is it that the sunset background is what we’ll see when we step out the front door of our new home soon. *happy sigh*
Yeah so,
I’m excited but also very terrified for the new change of scenery. I was born and raised in LA and have only experienced living away from the city during a short time in college. I’m trying to go in knowing that I have more experience doing some adulting and that I can do better. So here’s in hopes that I can adapt and take the baby steps into my bigger day dream. I hope disconnecting from the convenience of the city will help me actually start and finish my mixtape - amongst other things lol It’s time to step out and show myself what I’m made of.
Until next time~
P.s. Here’s something from the dungeon that is my archives. In 2010, my friend and I threw a show based on bands I liked on Myspace for our friend Crunky’s birthday. Shit tons of cringe, but little did I know that this show was going to start my love for throwing shows.
